Bush Fiddles while the Levee Breaks

This was our leader on Tuesday, the day after Hurricane Katrina . . .

while the residents of three states reeled from the most devastating natural disaster in 100 years

Oh, and I'm sure he got his little afternoon nap in, too.

I am so sorry and grieved for the suffering and loss of many people in Louisiana, and New Orleans in particular. After the first shock, two anacronyms came to me. They are: LDA: Lame Duck Administration, and TUDAD: The Unnecessary Death and Dying. My deepest condolences. The whole world is watching, and is witness to this tragedy made so much worse by the level of competence, or lack thereof, by the Bush administration. This is surely just one of the signs of one of the most shameful presidential terms in the history of the United States of America. CCC: A Concerned Canadian Citizen.
